The resort’s restaurants, The Lodge and The Lean-To, provide guests with two drastically distinct dining options. The creative but casual atmosphere of The Lean-To appeals to guests looking for a relaxed, contemporary meal while others who prefer an elegant, fine-dining experience dine at The Lodge. Both restaurants make utilizing local ingredients a top priority. The culinary teams change the menus seasonally and offer weekly specials, drawing inspiration from evaluating the menus, seasonal ingredients, and product availability.

Built to look and feel like an authentic Adirondack lean-to, a rustic three-sided shelter that appears to be leaning to one side, the gastropub draws upon its history as inspiration, bringing its historical roots to the culinary experience. With an ambition to showcase local craftsmanship, the gastropub offers a casual dining menu inspired by local ingredients, regional influences, and is marked by a twist on traditional lunch and dinner fare. Must-have items on the menu include the Angry Trout Tacos; a variety of poutines including Classic Canadian, Buffalo Chicken, Sweet Potato, and Wild Mushroom; and the Fried Green Tomato BLT. After experimenting with a simple hot sauce kit, the team developed their customer favorite: the Maple Scout Wings smothered in the famous house-made sweet and spicy sauce made with a hint of bourbon, maple syrup, and rosemary. These popular wings pair perfectly with a Maple Scout Bourbon that can also be enjoyed at the full-service bar with the region’s largest live-edge, custom walnut slab bar with unique carvings and features.

For an upscale, gourmet dining experience, customers can visit The Lodge, a fine-dining restaurant that showcases creativity and thoughtfulness in every menu option as well as the talents of Executive Chef Darryl Hogan. With an awe-inspiring dining room and panoramic views of Fourth Lake and the surrounding mountains, guests can experience a memorable meal at The Lodge and treat themselves to items such as the Center-Cut Apple-Bourbon Glazed Pork Chops or hand-cut filets. Earth and Ocean, an elaborate seafood plate, contains an 8-ounce filet and scallops on the half shell served with butternut squash, orzo, and seasonal vegetables. Other succulent seafood items found on The Lodge’s menu are the Herb Mustard Salmon, Seared Scallops with Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, and Southern Fried Catfish.
