Blueberry-Lemon Zing

Boasting Beverage Benefits

Considering item descriptions is a key element in crafting a successful beverage menu. Descriptors such as “fresh,” “natural,” and “organic” drive purchases and encourage customers to spend more money. Consumers are increasingly looking for beverages that offer functional health and wellness benefits. Be ready to call out these features on your menu.

Blueberry and lemon may seem like classic flavors, but they are also fresh, naturally rich sources of vitamin c and antioxidants. Coconut water and cucumbers are great for hydration on a hot day and replenish electrolytes after exercise. Additions like fresh ginger bring a depth of flavor and bolster health benefit claims. Whether your beverage ingredients are on trend “superfoods” or fresh kitchen staples, don’t hesitate to call out their nutritional benefits.
