Overnight oats are both an indulgent and healthy daytime treat. With the addition of Katy’s Kitchen nuts, granola, spice, and more, your overnight oats options are boundless. Try this version, prepared with a sous vide and topped with brandied stone fruit compote and cinnamon almonds!

Instructions
For the Sous Vide Overnight Oats
  1. Set sous vide machine to 155°F.
  2. Divide the water, oats, milk and salt among four canning jars; screw lids onto jars loosely (air must be able to escape). Submerge the jars in water, making sure the lids stay above water level. Cook for 7 hours.
  3. Remove jars from water and serve. Yield: 5 cups.
For the Brandied Stone Fruit Compote
  1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine all ingredients; cook 12 minutes or until fruit is soft. Transfer to a jar and cool. Yield: 1½ cups.
For the Cinnamon Almonds
  1. In a sauté pan over medium-low heat, add almonds, sugar, water and cinnamon. Cook 5 minutes or until almonds are lightly toasted and well coated in mixture.
  2. Spread almonds in single layer on parchment-lined sheet tray; bake in a 250°F oven for 15 minutes or until coating is dry. Yield: 1 cup.
To Serve
  1. Open jars; stir in or top with Brandied Stone Fruit Compote and Cinnamon Almonds.
