Markon First Crop Strawberries are limited; Markon Best Available is being substituted as needed. New crop supplies are ample in Santa Maria, California; quality is good. Prices are steady to slightly higher than last week.

    • Expect smaller size and diminishing quality
  • Santa Maria fall berries are exhibiting stronger texture; however, Southern California varieties exhibit paler color and odd shape
